How It Began
A Kitchen Built on Faith
Shree Krishna Pure Veg was born not from a business plan, but from a calling. In 2014, our founder Shri Venkatesh Rao opened a small tiffin centre in the heart of Hyderabad's Ameerpet neighbourhood with a single conviction: that food prepared with purity and devotion nourishes not just the body, but the soul.
Inspired by the temple kitchens of Tirupati and the home cooking of his grandmother in Nellore, Venkatesh insisted on a strict no-onion, no-garlic kitchen — a practice rooted in the Vaishnava tradition of offering food first to the divine before serving it to guests. Every dish was, and still is, prepared as a form of prasadam.
Word spread quickly. Within months, the small tiffin centre became a beloved neighbourhood institution. Families, students, office workers, and pilgrims all found their way to the warm, fragrant kitchen on Ameerpet Road. By 2017, we had outgrown our first home and moved to a larger space — but the recipes, the rituals, and the reverence remained unchanged.

A Decade of Devotion
The First Kitchen
Shri Venkatesh Rao opens a small tiffin centre in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, with 8 tables and a menu of 12 dishes.
Growing Family
Awarded 'Best Pure Veg Tiffin Centre' by Hyderabad Food Lovers Association. Staff grows to 25 and the menu expands to 60 dishes.
New Home
Moved to a larger 2,500 sq. ft. flagship restaurant in Ameerpet to meet growing demand. Added the full South Indian Thali and Biryani to the menu.
Second Outlet
Opened our second outlet in Kukatpally, Hyderabad — the first step toward making authentic pure veg food accessible across the city.
Franchise Launch
Launched the Shree Krishna Pure Veg franchise model, enabling passionate entrepreneurs to carry the tradition to new cities.
